Bathurst Presbyterian Church

A word from Bathurst Presbyterian Church

Elizabeth Chifley Presbyterian Preschool was established by the Bathurst Presbyterian Church and has been operating since 1975.

We don’t just want to be seen as owners and license holders of the Preschool but, more and more, we want to be involved in serving the Preschool community.  While we’ll leave the teaching and educational development up to our highly experienced teaching staff and their assistants, we do want everyone who attends the Preschool to know that caring for and protecting all little children is important to our church family. Jesus says in Mark’s gospel “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.”
As a church we want children to fully enjoy growing, exploring and living in Jesus’ world and to know Jesus as their king.

For this reason we try to ensure that our pre-school is well equipped to develop your child.

Our Preschool is a two-unit centre.  In each room an experienced university trained teacher plans the program for the children in their care.  The teachers have assistants who help with the implementation of the program.

You and your child will have the security of knowing that the same staff will be responsible each day for the same group of children. We hope you’ll come to appreciate these great teachers as much as we do.
